The Town of Hanson invites residents to the Annual and Special Town Meeting scheduled for Monday, May 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School.
All people registered to vote in Hanson can attend and vote on the various warrant articles.
Hanson residents will vote on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget at the Annual and Special Town Meeting, and the warrant includes a proposed override article.
The $3 million proposed override would go toward the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District assessment, adding four Firefighters/Paramedics to the Hanson Fire Department and the Town’s operational/government services.
